I am currently working with an international buyer that contacted me about 4 months ago, here on Active Rain. We have been corresponding ever since. He's very funny.
Now, he is currently here in the states for 10 days to purchase a property and then he will go back to England. We have spent several days looking at properties in Cape Canaveral Florida.
It's funny as I talk to him, so often his comments are, " I know, I read that in your blog online." He has told me many times that he felt like he already knew me before he got here. He indicated that he's been reading my blog for sometime now, from over in England. I LOVE IT! He said my Active Rain Blog is the reason he chose to do business with me.
So I wanted to share some pictures of some of the beautiful sights we have seen during his visit here.
This was taken at the Costa Del Rio Condo Complex in Cape Canaveral. This is what you would have to look at every morning when you get up.
We got a kick out of this sign at a local pond.
No trip to Cocoa Beach or Cape Canaveral would be complete without a visit to the World Famous Cocoa Beach Pier. This is where surfing contests are held and contestants come from all over the country to compete.
.
We spotted about 10 of these manatees in the backyard of a Cape Canaveral Condo complex that we visited. In my 35+ years of living here, I have never seen so many manatees in one spot.
We saw alot of momma manatees with their babies.
This was the view out the balcony of one of the condos we looked at.
This was the same Cape Canaveral Complex as the sun was setting.
These complexes sit on the Indian River Lagoon and are just blocks from the Atlantic Ocean.
So many great reasons to live in Cape Canaveral Florida.
It is absolutely breathtaking!
Thank you Active Rain for bringing me clients. I couldn't do it without blogging!

that for you

Hi Sandy, Your photo's are great, I think you might be a little spoiled there! I've been to Cocoa Beach and had a great time...love the manatees! Thanks, Sandy - have a wonderful Florida day!
Sandy,
This is awesome! Thank you for sharing. The photos are terrific.
Did you get him from your outside blog?
Ann Hayden in warm Wildwood, Missouri
Sandy, Did you change the post, or did I just breeze by the Active Rain info?? Either way ! Way to go and I'm so glad to hear the AR success story- that is awesome! :-)
Sandy
Great photo's; good luck with your international customers.
Good luck and success

Sandy - The picture at the top is so inviting. I can picture myself sitting on that little deck, munching on a sandwich, with a fishing line in the water. The one warning about gators in the water is too funny:-) Whenever my youngest grand-daughter sees a sign that says, "NOTICE" she thinks it says, "NOT ICE". . .:-)
Hi SS, long time no comment, huh? I love your photos, especially the manatees!!
Sandy this is simply incredible. I love hearing stories like this! It's alwasy great when someone finds you from blogging. In away it really is like they know you before they meet you.
Wow Sandy, you are very talented with a camera. Great Pictures.
Sandy, this is a luscious story! Of course he contacted you! You are the local expert! You go girl!
Congrats! You are dealing with the English and I am working with the Australians on this coast. Life is good...
We inherited a house in Colombia, and I found the listing agent through Activerain. Love the pictures.
Sandy - That is a great testament to you and your blogging! (I also enjoyed the photos of Cape Canaveral.)
Hey Miss Mary, Love it when buyers come to us through AR. Another great reason to be here.
Ann, Yes, he indicated that he has been reading my blog for sometime now. It was obvious he had been, when he got here, but he referenced back to so many things I had written about.
Lou, Thanks, he was fortunate enough to make an offer on a beautiful waterfront condo, and they were able to come to terms and he will be back at the end of the month to close on it.
Myrl, Wouldn't it be a beautiful place to live, looking at that view from your balcony? I agree. It would be great. NOT ICE, kids say it like they see it, don't they?
Hi TO, The manatees were my favorite also. We watched them for so long. They are so fun to see when they are playing.
Justin, I agree, that they really do get to know you before you meet them. How great for them! Then they can decide if they do or don't want to do business with you, without ever having any contact at first.
KT, Thanks. It is an absolutely beautiful area, so the pictures are easy to take.
Hey Caren, Thanks, you are very kind. I know that Active Rain gives us such a great platform to be seen and heard!
Paul, It just doesn't get any better than this, does it?
Tere, It seems that everyday we hear another Active Rain story. I LOVE IT!
Wendy, Thanks, I appreciate it. Blogging brings people together. Isn't it beautiful in CC?
Sandy,
This is so cool! Great job!
Ann
Hi Ann, This buyer is such a great person also. We had a great time working together and I think we've built a lasting relationship.
Sandy,
That is even better!
