We are still hearing that International Buyers favor Florida's location, climate and low prices to other locales in the United States.
International Buyers are actively purchasing Florida real estate. And others are keeping an eye on the market to determine when they feel the time is right to jump in. Many buyers are purchasing their second/vacation/investment homes for cash. Some are staying in the property for several months, and then renting their furnished units for the period of time they go back home.
The National Association of Realtors indicates that 25 percent of these international buyers are Canadian, 21 percent are Europeans, and just over 20 percent are British.

Sandy, My market has slowed with international buyers. Must be the weather :)
Hi Paul, It seems that the out of the country buyers love Florida as one of their top spots. Interesting to hear that your market has slowed for that group.
Hi Sandy
I agree with you Florida is the destination for many international buyers.
Good luck and success.

Hi Lou, There are so many great reasons for them to choose Florida, location, location, location AND PRICE!
Sandy,
I can see why!

Sandy - The pictures you have been posting the last couple of days have a wonderful tranquil feeling to them. I get all relaxed just sitting here looking at them. The only thing I can think of that would be more relaxing is a foot massage on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta by a certain beach boy I know there:-)
Oompa, with continued drops in pricing and more foreclosures, international buyers will continue to flood the U.S. for investments. I wonder why more Americans don't like real estate investing. Maybe they don't like money.
Sandy - You're right. I'm about to close a deal with a couple from Belgium. They bought in Port St. John.
I don't get many international buyers in my area. We just don't have the nice Florida weather out here I guess.
Sandy, your beautiful sun-bleached beaches, palm trees and balmy temps, what's not to love!!
We don't have a large # of international buyers (that I am seeing). I had one in 2009 and deal didn't work out. I have an idea. Send some of them to me for beautiful Lake Norman (we have some great deals) when you are finished with your transaction. LOL
Sandy, I would say International buyers and those of us in the Northeast region of the US are still fleeing to Florida for that gorgeous weather! I've had spveral clients that have moved to different parts of Florida as well as family and I'm going to become a snowbird myself :)
Ann, I hate to hear that it's soggy there. That's how it was here several weeks ago. But we desparately needed it!
Myrl, Well that sounds like some kind of great trip to Puerta Vallarta with a certain beach boy giving you a wonderful foot massage! Sounds absolutely wonderful! I'm so glad that you enjoy the pictures that I have recently posted. It is so beautiful here, the pictures always come out great.
Sandy,
We do not need any more rain!
Ann
Hi TOTO, For many international investors the exchange rate makes prices here more attractive.
Hi John, Congratulations to you on your Belgium buyers.
Hi Justin, Oh, well, I suppose every area can't have them.
Steven and Marti, So many reasons to love being here in Florida.
Wendy, Okay, you've got a deal - I'll send them your way as soon as they finish their purchase here. (LOL)
Carole, Love to hear that you will soon be a snowbird. You'll love it here.
Hi Ann, We were in exactly the same situation just a couple of weeks back. But, our rain levels had been so low for so long we reallyl needed it.
Sandy,
I would happily trade our rain for some humid-less days...
