It seems almost impossible that Fall is already here.
But, I love the Fall, when the air is crisp and clean and the leaves begin to change color and drop from the trees. Being in Florida we feel less humidity. The cool air starts creeping in.
But, I can't help but wonder, where did the time go?
Summer was here and gone in a blink.
I was in the store yesterday and the shelves are bulging with Halloween and Christmas items - oh my goodness - not already. Christmas, not so fast! I'm not ready yet!
I wake up on Monday morning and when I fall into bed, it's Friday night already. The weeks just fly. I suppose it has nothing to do with having two very active teenage daughters, rental properties and two businesses.
I have always been told that the older you get, the quicker that times goes. I can't imagine it moving any faster than it does.
So time, please slow down, I want to stop and remember to smell the roses.

that for you

Walk into most retail stores and there is a Christmas setup in everyone of them!
You are so right....
I am certainly not ready for Christmas yet...although it is my favorite time of year..
Ginger
Sandy, this was the most disappointing summer selling season, I had, in real estate. Bring on 2010, please!
Begin each day as if it were on purpose,
Paul
Vern, I can't believe that Christmas decorations are already up. It seems amazing to me, that it's around the corner.
Ginger, I'm not ready either. Not sure I'll be ready when it gets here, either.
Paul, I hate to hear that it was a tough Summer. There are just so many changes in the real estate market today. It's hard to know what the market's going to bring anymore. Hope 2010 (or the end of 2009) prove to be prosperous.
Sandy, it's inevitable. It used to bother me to see the Christmas displays come out before Halloween even hit. Now I think of holidays as layers of importance, the Christmas spirit should stay with us as long as possible. Align your favorite holidays as you wish and enjoy each for as long as you like to their fullest. Happy New Year!
Sandy, I sure wish there was a way to put time on hold....it goes by WAY too fast! I am not at all happy that summer is already gone.
Hi Sandy, my summer went by too fast also -- I guess there is no slowing it down- Christmas will probably be here before we know it! Oh, and I remember one year, I wanted to buy snow boots, by the time the snow was flying, there were no more boots on the shelves, only swimsuits LOL!!
Sandy - Fall is my favorite, but living in Florida, it tends to be WINTER here! It does not start "cooling off" until December. Now Autumn in New England... ahhh...
Sandy
Christmas is coming fast, the year is going by in a flash.
Good luck and success.
Lou Ludwig
This summer flew by. I love Halloween!
Sandy, I for one think we should relish Halloween and Thanksgiving a bit more before diving into Christmas.
Kevin, I like your philosophy, that the Christmas spirit should stay with us as long as possible...beautifully said. Thanks!
Carole, Didn't Summer just fly by? It seems impossible that it's gone.
Mary, I know, I went out looking for rubber rafts for an upcoming pool party, but couldn't find them at any of the local department stores.
Wendy, You're right...it does wait until December to really cool off here...that's the great thing about living in the sunshine state.
Lou, The year is going by in a flash.
Debra, Do you love Halloween? Do you dress up and go out to a party? What will you be this Halloween?
Patricia, I do agree. I think that Thanksgiving comes and goes in the blink of an eye.
Sandy - It is shocking how rapidly this year has passed. . .I can't wrap my head around the idea that Christmas is just two months away!
Hi Myrl, I know, I'm having the same problem. It seems incomprehensible that Christmas is right around the corner!
Sandy-I don't dress up anymore but I used to every single year up until about 5 years ago. I miss dressing up.
Sandy,
I do not know where the time went but it was 41 degrees this morning.
Ann
Sandy: There is nothing like a hot cup of coffee on a cool Fall morning!
