Sandy, great title for a great photograph!
Oompa, if I have told you once, I've told you twice...slow down, the birdy needs food.
Nice! I have a heron that regularly stands on a mooring buoy in front of my house...he observes then "acts".
Sandy, and it will come! These pelicans are quite good at fishing!
Hi Sandy ~ That's a classic shot! I wasn't sure what to expect before I opened the post.

Sandy
It's lunch time in Melbourne Florida.
Good luck and success.

Sandy,
Thanks for such a nice shot. Now serving table number 5 - did someone order the fish dinner? :)
Steve
Sandy, thanks for sharing your great photograph. The brown pelicans on the Oregon coast aren't nearly that large.
Cute shot Sandy. I guess you could say the same thing about me often enough! :-)
Sandy, I can imagine that he is very well fed!
Sandy - That bird reminds me of a hungry grandbaby, sitting in a high chair waiting for it's next bite:-)
I was amazed by the number of pelicans that were in certain areas of Florida. . .Especially around Islamorada!
Tony, This guy was sitting in the perfect spot.
Hey TOTO, Well, apparently he decided to slow down and sit a spell. He had a great view from atop his perch.
Li, Oh boy, I bet you love to watch him. They are incredible to watch when they're on the hunt.
Silvia, Oh, you've got that right - these guys are top notch fishermen - the best. They do quite well for themselves. I'd like to catch them on video fishing sometime.
Elizabeth, I didn't mean to throw you with the title. It could have been a lion in search of his next meal, uh oh, that wouldn't have been good. So, I caught you off guard.
Lou, Yes it is, and I'm sure that this guy got a belly full.
Steve, Table #5 is indeed being served. These guys are such good fishermen that it's unusual to see them miss a catch. I could watch them for hours.
Gary, Really, so our Florida pelicans are larger than yours? Usually when we see these guys, we see more than one of them. But, this day, this was the only one I saw, which seemed a bit strange.
Gabe, So that guy reminds you or yourself, waiting for that next meal? Do you like fish like he does? Or you a meat eater? LOL
Caren, Oh this river is full of fish for this guy to eat as much as he likes.
Myrl, Funny, a grandbaby, by golly, I believe you're on to something. Sitting there waiting to eat, so true. There are a lot of pelicans in various parts of the state. We see lots of them here, just hanging around the river.
Sandy-Love the picture!!
Hi Debra, Thanks - this guy was just looking for that perfect opportunity.
