Relay For Life is being held on Saturday April 10, 2010 at 2:00. It will be at the Satellite High School, Satellite Beach, FL football stadium. It is an event sponsored by the American Cancer Society to bring communities together in the fight against cancer. The guests of honor are cancer survivors. Teams camp out on the field for 18 hours. Each team always has a member on the track, walking or running, moving around the track, as cancer never sleeps.
Survivors walk the track and are honored for their strength, courage and determination in overcoming the disease. They are an inspiration to others.
The event raises money through different types of fundraising, all in the hopes of finding a cure against cancer.

Sandy, this is a GREAT event! Janelle's high school will be doing this in a couple of weeks and she is on board with a team. Our KW office brings a contingent to our city wide Relay for Life in June in Lafayette.
