This weekend several schools held their proms. And, Satellite High was one of them.
Oh, how time seems to get away from us. My 17 year old, Stephanie headed off to dance the night away with her date, Tyler and to spend quality time with her friends.
High school is one of the best times in their lives. They are going out, meeting new people, learning and growing into their own personalities. They are seizing the moments and enjoying life to the fullest.
Funny, I just received an invitation for my 30 year high school class reunion. Incredible.
So, how did we get here so quickly? It has happened in the blink of an eye. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly time just sneaks away from us.
They are absolutely having the time of their lives...

When did we get so old? I skipped my 30 year reunion but am looking forward to my 40th in a couple of years. It will be fun to see how many people I can identify =) (Sorry, Not to say you're old)
I hope you had a great Monday Sandy,
Paul
I remember those days, did you know you can fit 20 kids into those old Cadillac Eldorado's. To Stephanie & Tyler, best times of your lives kids, hope you had a blast! Sandy, I can't wait until our 75th reunion, it'll be themed "Shake, Rattle & Roll" but for all the wrong reasons.
Time goes faster than smoke through a keyhole, but fond memories last forever! I am certain Stephanie will remember this prom night for a long time. Why do I have a vision of Stepanie's dad waiting up for her:-)
Hi Sandy, Time does fly as we get older. I remember being Stephanie's age and wanting time to go faster..to move on to the next thing..to be older! I hope she enjoyed the prom and takes time to enjoy all that youth!
Thanks for sharing. Time does fly. My daughter is 15 and goes to Melbourne High this year.

It looks like Stephanie and her date are ready to have a great time.
Good luck and success.

Very nice Sandy. I hope your daughter had a great prom. My wife is getting ready for her 40th reunion party. As for me, we forgot how long ago it was, so we've stopped having reunions.
Sandy, cute couple and I hope they had a great time! Oh to be young again!
Sandy-I hope they had a great time! They both looked terrific-your daughter is beautiful.
Paul, It does seem that time is just getting away from us. This school year went particularly fast - probably because we are so busy.
Kevin, You are so funny. This is the time of their lives for Stephanie and Tyler. They need to live it up, while they're young - there's no doubt about that. Oh my gosh, 75th reunion, that would make me almost 90 years old - I'm not sure that I'll live that long. You have alot of faith.
Myrl, Smoke through a keyhole, huh? That is fast. Never thought of it like that. They had a great time -and you must have ESP, because both of us were waiting up for her (couldn't help it- just a parent thing that we do).
Mary, I also remember wanting to be older. She wants to be 18. I keep telling her to enjoy her life, one year at a time. Because before they know it, they'll be my age.
Hey Paul, Oh, so you have a 15 year old. My youngest turned 15 last week. Your daughter is at Mel High this year? Aren't you over on the beachside? Or is that just your business address?
Lou, It was a fun night for all that went.
Oh now Gabe - come on - forgot how long it's been since you graduated - you know what they say - you're only as old as you feel. I know you can't feel that old.
Caren, They are a cute couple. I remember my days of being 17 years old. It was a lot of fun.
Debra, Thanks. I can't believe that she's 17 already - it seems like only yesterday I brought her home from the hospital.
