yes....but ultimately everyone needs a home and every building needs an owner. I'm an optimist.

Hi Sandy - Not a good sign of the times but possibly a realistic one. I'm definitely apprehensive.

Hi Sandy ~ Looks like a beautiful building.  Hopefully somebody will snap it up and give it a new lease on life.

It truly is a sign of the times isn't it Sandy!  Last evening I was thinking of the movie, Fried Green Tomatoes, about the Great Depression era.  I wonder if there will one day be a film showcasing this time we are currently experiencing.  Perhaps the question should not be "IF" - but "WHEN."

Sandy,

You have to wonder whether many of these boarded up places will ever return. Sad, really.

Someone will come along and bring new life to that old building.  We have to keep thinking it is going to be better days.

Karen, Great point of view - you're right, every building does need a new owner.

Debra, Thanks -it seemed fitting for this beautiful old building.

John, It can be a bit scary. We'll just have to hang back and let the cards fall where they will.  That's all we can do at this point - unfortunately.

Elizabeth, I can see this building full of life in the future - bustling with activity.

Myrl, That's an interesting thought, isn't it?  Will they make a movie in the future about the tough times we are currently experiencing?  We'll just have to wait and see.

Richard, Yes, we do wonder - but, we can hope that they will, sometime down the road.

Diane, Great attitude.  Keep the chin up!
