Sandy, I always say that's the only way to go.  We love cruising and that looks like a fabulous ship.  I hope you had a blast!

Doug and Gloria, That was a big ship!  It was gorgeous! We had a wonderful time. It was actually our third cruise.  We headed to the Cayman Islands and Cozumel Mexico.  It got a bit rough when we hit 10 foot seas coming out of Cozumel, with a tropical depression heading for Tampa.  When we got back it took a day or 2 to get our land legs back.

Lou, We did have an amazing time! We went for 5 days and time just flew by.

Kevin, We are in a great location to head out and cruise anytime we like...being here in Florida. Aren't we?  What's your favorite destination?

Did they have a booze cruise?  Always so fun to see that fun little side excursion boat come back.  Hope you had a wonderful time.

Hi Sandy.  It sounds like you had a great time.  I hope you are all rested, refreshed, and recharged for the rest of the year.

Gee, and I thought people who lived in Florida took vacations in glamorous spots like Indiana!!  ^_~

So that's how the rich and famous enjoy their summers?  Bet you had a blast.

Welcome back Sandy.  I hope you had a great time.  Were you on the cruise during the Storm?

Sandy - Those are amazing picturs.  That top one catches my eye especially, because it is so unusual in its perspective.  What kind of camera are you using?

Oh by the way, I hope you had a wonderful time!

We're so spoiled living in Florida. Just minutes away from all those cruise boats. Sounds like you had a great time.

Paul, We had a wonderful time.  You're right - I was glad to get home after to my own bed.  It took us a couple of days to get our "land legs" - the house was rocking for about 3 days after we got home.

Paul, Yes, I have been out basking in the Cayman Islands and on the Mexican beaches. It was a relaxing getaway and the sights were breathtaking.

Juli, Yes, there was an excursion boat in the Cayman Islands. There wasn't one in Cozumel, but there certainly was a lot of booze. I remember that about our last trip to Cozumel.  Many passengers got back on the ship after drinking large amounts Tequila.

Bruce, We were going to come to see you in beautiful Indiana, however here we always have a problem here in Florida trying to decide what we are going to do, because we are only 1 hour away from all the theme parks and are within 45 minutes to 2 hours from the cruise ships.  We love living here.

John, Well, I have only heard on TV how the rich and famous enjoy their summers - lol.  But, us middle class folks sure enjoy grabbing a cruise ship to Mexico every now and again and heading out for some seriously needed rest and relaxation.

Gabe, Yes, we left out of Tampa and found out 3 days later (from hearing from people that were talking to people back home) that there was a Tropical Depression headed for Tampa.  On the 3rd day we had 5 foot seas and by the 4th day the seas were at 10 feet. It was quite rough. There were seasick bags taped to the walls in front of the elevators.  We were fine as long as we didn't sit down too long.  We kept moving and stayed busy. If the waves got too much bigger, I think I may have had a real problem.

Myrl, We had a great time! Coming from the great photographer that you are, I thank you for the compliment on the photos.  Actually we were taking pictures with a Kodak EasyShare, 10 megapixels.  We had such great scenery that our pictures turned out beautifully.

Rob, You're right - we are so very fortunate. There is sooooo much to do here in Florida.  It's hard to make a choice of where to go.

Mary, We stayed busy constantly.  There were so many activities on the ship, we really didn't spend much time sitting around.  It was great.

Gary, This is a big ship - thank goodness, because if we were in a smaller one during those 10 foot seas I may have tossed my cookies. LOL

Pat, Don't be jealous - come with us next time.  We are planning a trip for the spring. I'll have to give you a call and you can come along!
