To kick off the new school year on Saturday, August 14 the Satellite Varsity Cheerleaders will have a car wash from 9:00 to 2:30.
It will be held at Taco Bell at the corner of Scopion Ct and Highway A1A.
Donations are $5.00.
The car wash is being held to help the girls defray costs of traveling to competition and to help pay for their competition uniforms.
So come on out on Saturday and get your cash washed.

Hi Sandy, that is one menacing looking mascot! I am still trying to process having a HS right across from the beach! I can't imagine teaching for 31 years and having an ocean view! WOW!!! Perhaps I would still be teaching!

Hii Bruce, The scorpion is a menacing looking mascot. We are hoping that our football team this year will be as mean as our mascot. Last year we had one of our best years in a while.
A high school across the street from the beach does make for a tough situation sometimes. Luckily they can't see the ocean from the school. But, there are lots of 'fun beach' days instead of school days - lots of avid surfers that would rather be hitting the waves than hitting the books.
