Sandy, I appreciate the info. Is that the report or score they are giving? Also, is it the FICO score? Some sites will promote that they will give you your "credit score" when there are several out there but only 3 major FICO ones. Let us know, thanks!

Hi Jeff,

It is the Experian credit score and credit report.

Isn't there only one company through Fair Isaac that provides FICO scores at My Fico Score?  They're the leader in credit scores aren't they? They provide all 3 credit scores (not sure if it's a cost to consumer or not) You'd probably know the answer to that better than I do.

Quizzle is a fun website that consumers can use as a tool to take a look at their credit report and score at Experian. There are a couple of other tools available for consumers to use.

Hope this helps.

Regards, Sandy

Sandy, thanks for the clarification.

The reason I ask is that when we pull a tri-merge on someone's FICO score it is always consistent with other lenders who pull it too. The problem comes in when people think their "credit score" they pulled offline is the same as their FICO score that lenders use. They may have a "credit score" but it doesn't mean that it will be their FICO that all lenders use.

I will check out Quizzle, thanks!

Hi Jeff,

I see what you're saying.

Is there somewhere online that a consumer can access their FICO score online for free? I know that they can access their annual credit report once a year online at no charge.

I have made an additional note to my post that this score could be different than your actual FICO score.  Thanks for the information. I appreciate it! -Sandy

Sandy, I went ahead and e-mailed you the information. Where you are showcasing Quizzle I didn't want to try to direct people to other sites.
