In one week we will celebrate Thanksgiving. It came so quickly this year, in just the blink of an eye. Time just got away from me.
It's at this time of year we must truly take a moment out of our busy lives and take time to reflect. We have so much to be thankful for.
My sister, Jean and her husband, Charley will be coming in from Ft Walton Beach to visit us here in Melbourne Florida. They are arriving Sunday to spend the week with us. I love my sister dearly, She always tells me that she is my best audience, because she laughs at ALL of my stupid jokes (I'm not very good at delivering the punch line).
And, my brother in law, Phil and sister in law, Eileen will be coming in from Georgia on Wednesday for a couple of days. My girls love seeing and spending time with both of them.
I am blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life. I am really looking forward to bringing everyone together and taking a couple of days to enjoy the special people in my life.
I hope that all of us are able to take time to reflect and be thankful for the wonderful gifts we have in our families and friends.

that for you

Although no family will be visiting this year nor will I be going anywhere, I do a daily gratitude walk. I have so much to be thankful for. Thanks for your post. Enjoy Thanksgiving.
Hi Sandy, Sounds like y'all are going to have a great Thanksgiving. Enjoy the time with your family. We do have so much to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving.
Hi Sandy,
I have relatives coming in from Georgia too. Thanksgiving will be at my house. I do like to entertain..it is the cleaning up I do not care for...
Ann
Hi Kelly, A daily gratitude walk...I like that...it sounds enlightening. I think it is so important to sit back and reflect on all the things we have in our lives. You're welcome for the post and I hope that you also have a Happy Thanksgiving!i
Hi Kara, I think that it will be a wonderful time with the family. Thank you and I hope that you have a wonderful time also.
Hi Ann, I am so happy to hear that you have relatives coming in for the holiday. Cleaning up is not my favorite either. I will be thinking of you!
Hi Sandy,
I love Thanksgiving! We usually don't do anything very exciting, but we all get together and spend the day cooking and watching football and just getting to spend time with the family and it is something we all look forward to every year. Thanks for sharing.
Sandy, where did this year go? For it being a slow year in real estate the time is flying by.
Hi Jenn, I enjoy Thanksgiving also, especially when I get to see my sister, Jean. I hope that you have a wonderful time and don't eat too much!
Hi Rich, I was thinking the exact same thing. This year has flown - and I can't believe the holidays are already here. But, they are, and so we must just look back and be thankful for the great lives that we do have!
Sandy,
I am not going to try to be wonder woman this year... I am going to take it easy.
We will have a good time not matter what I get completed and what I do not.
Ann
Hi Ann, Well, don't do it all yourself. Delegate, delegate, delegate. And make sure to have fun!
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year. I just wish we could hold Christmas off until after we have the opportunity be thankful for that turkey and all those good things that go with it - and of course for family, friends, and all our blessings.
Hi Bruce and Mary, I like Thanksgiving too. It is a favorite time. I agree with you on Christmas. I just wish that it hadn't gotten so commercialized. I think that we miss the entire point of it today. You said it - it's about family, friends and our blessings.
Sandy, you are so right, perspective and attitude are everything when it comes to family and life.
Sandy,
I hope I can get out of doing all of it....most of it. I shopped today, eeeeekkk!
Ann
Hi Steve, we must always take time for your family. They're number #1! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy your family!
