Rich Mielke and Nancy Larson both tagged me yesterday for this MeMe. They are both active bloggers here on Active Rain and I love to read what they have to say in their posts.
Here is the way it works:
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 56.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next two to five sentences.
5. Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book or the intellectual one. Pick the Closest.
6. Tag five people to do the same
*The one book that this can not be is the Bible*
The book that was closest to me was "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill

Here is the fifth sentence from the 56th page: " Any thought, idea. plan or purpose which holds in one's mind attracts a host of its relatives, adds these "relatives" to its own force, and grows until in becomes the dominating, motivating master of the individual in whose mind it has been housed."
I love reading anything inspirational or motivating or that makes me think. My all time favorite book is Your Erroneous Zone by Dr. Wayne Dyer. My other favorite is Pulling Your Own Strings, by the same author. I have probably read both of those books at least 20 times in my lifetime. I like to remind myself of the simple, day to day routines we should implement into our lives.
In order to pass along this MeMe, I am tagging

that for you

Thanks, Sandy ... This is an easy one :)
Hey Marie, You're welcome and have fun!
Sanday ... P.S. So now I know your secret! I'll have to check it out.
Hi Patricia, I have to confess, when I pick up a book, I do it in bed, just before falling asleep, to help me go to sleep. So you're not alone!
Hi Miss Marie, I love any type of book that is motivational. If you have never read any books by Dr. Wayne Dyer you must. My very favorite book of all time is Your Erroneous Zones - you will feel like the whole book iw written about you -it's eerie. Second favorite is Pulling Your Own Strings, by Dyer. He's incredible! Sooo enlightening. He wrote these books over 20 years ago and still is on Public TV as a motivational speaker.
Sandy - This is a great book... I read it a couple of years ago, I really enjoy reading inspirational books too. Love this new MeMe...
Hey Debbie, This book has been around forever and has been republished over and over again. I love anything that makes me think, that I can apply to my everyday life. Thanks for sharing!
Sandy, that book is always on the reading list of most of my instructors. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Hi Rich, I know so many people that have read this book. And if you haven't you should. I have had it for years and pick it up occasionally to reread it. Thanks for the tag and have a great day!
Soo many books, sooo little time. Always a great choice with Hill.
Hi Fred, I do agree that we don't have enough time to read. I would love to be able to read in my spare time more enough, It's just that I really don't have much spare time.
Sandy,
This is a really great book. I have read it too.
Ann
Hi Miss Ann, I think that those that have read this can really appreciate it and those that haven't, should. Have a super weekend!
Sandy,
Some people are of the mind-set that thinking is over-rated....
